What does the SupaTimber® (CCA) warranty cover?
The warranty covers only termite infestation and fungal decay. The preservatives do not work on insects that do not ingest the wood (e.g., borer beetles, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, etc.). Termites recognize the wood as inedible and move on.
Wood has a natural tendency to warp, twist, split, etc. We cannot guarantee that this will not happen, therefore, it is not covered in our warranty.
